The Indian benchmark indices are expected to open higher on Thursday amid positive global market cues. The GIFT NIFTY futures jumped 51 points on Thursday morning, indicating an opening above 25,500 levels on the NIFTY50. Indian IT stocks rebounded from lower levels on Wednesday, as global software stocks bounced back after announcing integrations with Anthropic AI.

On the technical front, the NIFTY50 closed below the 20-day and 50-day moving averages on the hourly charts on Wednesday. This indicates an absence of buying power at higher levels. The index now holds 25,400 as the crucial support and 25,600 as the major resistance on the daily charts.

The options data for the coming weekly expiry indicates a narrow range for trade. The highest open interest on the call side stands at 25,600, indicating a strong resistance for the NIFTY50 on the upside. On the downside, 25,500 puts hold the highest open interest, indicating a crucial support.
