REC Ltd announces fourth interim dividend of ₹3.60 per share, shares rally 2%

The public sector undertaking is widely known for its rich dividend payouts throughout the year. The company today announced its fourth interim dividend of ₹3.60 apiece, for which the record date is set on March 26, 2025.

Shares of REC jumped 2% at ₹230 apiece after announcement of fourth interim dividend.

Shares of REC Ltd traded 2% higher on the NSE at ₹230 apiece on Wednesday after the company announced its fourth interim dividend.

REC Ltd board said in its exchange filing, that , the “Board of Directors of REC Limited in its meeting held on March 19, 2025, considered and declared 4th interim dividend of ₹3.60 per equity share on 10/ - each for the financial year 2024-25. Further, the record date for the said interim dividend is Wednesday, March 26, 2025, and the said interim dividend shall be paid/ dispatched on or before April 16, 2025, to those shareholders.

The company announced four dividends in FY25 totalling ₹16.8 per share of which three were interim dividends and one final dividend. With the latest dividend, the company’s total payout for FY25 will be ₹20.4 per share, which translates into a dividend yield of 9% for FY25.

In Q3FY25, the company’s total revenue jumped 18.4% YoY to ₹14,271 crore as against ₹12,051 crore and the net profit for the quarter jumped 23% YoY to ₹4,076 crore.
