Redington shares soar over 2% to 52-week high ahead of Apple 2026 launch event; key details

At around 11:50 AM, the stock was trading 1.61% higher at ₹379.55 per equity share. It touched a year’s low of ₹191.31 per unit on April 2, 2026.

The scrip has advanced more than 4% in the past week and 7% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has surged 38%. Redington is Apple's official supply chain and distribution partner in India, the Middle East, Turkey, and South Africa.

Apple Launch Event 2026

One of the world’s most valuable traded companies, Apple, is set to host its iPhone 18 launch event, “Surprise and Shine”, on Wednesday, September 9, at 10 AM Pacific Time (PT), which will also be streamed online.

The company is expected to launch the iPhone 18 series, with iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which are said to feature Apple’s A20 Pro chip with a 2nm processor

Reportedly, Apple is also set to announce the launch of its first foldable phones, said to be called iPhone Ultra.

The company is also rumored to launch the Apple Watch Series 12, along with Ultra 4, with new health tracking capabilities and performance upgrades.

The annual keynote will begin at 10 AM PT and will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. This means Indian viewers can stream the event online at 10:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) on Wednesday, September 9.

Redington Q1 results

The company’s consolidated profit after tax (PAT) grew more than twice as fast as revenue to ₹486 crore, soaring 77% year-on-year (YoY) in the first quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹275 crore in the same period last year.

Its revenue from operations increased 35% YoY to ₹34,922 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹25,952 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26), marking the highest-ever quarterly revenue.

On the operational front, Redington’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation & amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter surged 76% YoY to ₹707 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹401 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Its EBITDA margin for the quarter expanded to 2.02% in the reporting quarter, up from 1.55% in Q1 FY26.
