According to a regulatory filing, the company’s board of directors approved the issuance of 82.94 lakh warrants, each carrying a right to subscribe to one fully paid-up equity share of the company having a face value of ₹2 each, at an issue price of ₹ 2,110 per warrant, including a premium of ₹ 2,108 per equity share, with a face value of ₹2 each.

The company plans to issue the warrants for cash consideration aggregating up to ₹1,750.03 crore through a preferential issue on a private placement basis to Nithyam Realty Private Ltd, it stated.

In connection with the preferential issue, its board also approved entering into an investment agreement with the subscriber, Nithyam Realty, and accordingly executed the agreement with the subscriber.

Furthermore, Piramal Finance’s board authorised the Committee of Directors (Administration, Authorisation & Finance) to take all the necessary decisions in this regard.

The company’s board additionally decided to convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to seek shareholders’ approval for the preferential issue on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Piramal Finance Q1 results

Piramal Finance Ltd reported a 66.13% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹459 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹276.37 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.

Its consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹3,368 crore during the quarter under review, marking a 27.62% YoY increase from ₹2,639 crore in the June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Piramal Finance stock performance

Piramal Finance shares fell as much as 2.19% to hit an intraday low of ₹2,133.10 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, August 24.

At around 11:34 AM, the scrip stood at ₹2,135 per equity share, reflecting a 2.10% drop.

The stock has advanced 3% in the past week and more than 4% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has soared 30%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹2,220 apiece on July 1, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹1,260 per unit on November 7, 2026.
