Paras Defence shares rise as much as 2% to touch an intraday high of ₹1,244 apiece on Wednesday, July 22, after subsidiary Paras Semiconductors signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Science and Technology acting through MP State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSeDC).

With an investment worth approximately ₹6,200 crore, Paras Semiconductors will set up a greenfield advanced IC packaging OSAT facility in Indore-Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

The facility will undertake advanced packaging operations, including 3D heterogeneous integration, 2.5D/3D advanced packaging, hybrid bonding, ultra-high-density fan-out packaging, chiplet integration, wafer bumping, flip-chip assembly, testing and reliability.

“Paras Semiconductors and MPSeDC will integrate their respective expertise and resources to collaboratively facilitate the establishment of a greenfield advanced IC packaging OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) facility in Madhya Pradesh,” said in a regulatory filing.

Paras Defence Q4 FY26 earnings

The firm’s consolidated net profit skyrocketed 89% to ₹34 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026 (Q4 FY26) as compared to ₹18 crore reported in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

The Mumbai-based company's revenue from operations jumped 58% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to ₹171 crore in the January to March quarter as against ₹108 crore seen in Q4 FY25. The company’s net income also increased 61% to ₹180 crore in the reporting quarter from ₹112 crore YoY.

Its operating profit, also known as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA), surged 52% to ₹42 crore as against ₹28 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its EBITDA margin, however, contracted marginally to 24.56% in contrast to 25.65% in the year-ago period.

Paras Defence share price trends

At 12:10 PM, Paras Defence shares were trading at ₹1,227.1 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, rising 0.37%.

From the beginning of the year, Paras Defence shares have soared 78%. Over a month’s time, the stock has fallen 11.5%, while it has zoomed 88% in the past six months.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹1,443 on June 19, 2026, and a 52-week low of ₹580.50 on March 23, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of July 22, 2026, Paras Defence has a total market capitalisation of ₹9,831.65 crore.
