NCC shares in focus on bagging ₹1,077 crore drinking water supply order from govt of Andhra Pradesh

NCC share price: Shares of infrastructure and construction conglomerate NCC Ltd are expected to be on investors’ radar on Tuesday, September 29, as it secured a letter of award (LoA) from the government of Andhra Pradesh for the supply of fresh water.

Worth ₹1,076.71 crore (excluding GST), the order for supplying drinking water was bagged under the Multi Village Scheme on Yeleru Reservoir for Anakapalli Segment in Anakapalli District in Andhra Pradesh, according to a regulatory filing dated September 28.

NCC Ltd accepted the LoA on September 26 from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Visakhapatnam, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The order is expected to be executed over a period of 24 months, the filing read.

Order wins in August

In a separate regulatory filing dated August 21, the company said it secured three orders in the month of August, aggregating to ₹430.19 crore.

NCC further stated that the three orders pertain to its buildings division and were received in the normal course of business.

NCC Q1 results

NCC reported a 12.6% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹216.4 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), compared with ₹192.14 crore in the same period last year.

Its revenue from operations jumped 12.2% YoY to ₹5,812 crore for the quarter under review, as against ₹5,179 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

NCC stock performance

Shares of NCC closed 1.90% lower at ₹130.29 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, September 28. During the trading session, the stock hit a 52-week low of ₹130 per equity share, amid a broad-based sell-off in the market. However, the development was announced after the market closed.

The scrip has declined 4% in the past week and 12% over the month. It has fallen more than 19% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis. The stock hit a year’s high of ₹217.25 per equity share on November 3, 2025.

NCC Ltd has a total market capitalisation of ₹8,180.21 crore as of September 28, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
