From the beginning of the year, Navin Fluorine shares have zoomed 36%. Over a month’s time, the stock has gained 4%.

The specialty chemicals firm reported a 108% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹243 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27). In the corresponding quarter last year, the company had posted a net profit of ₹117 crore.

Led by volume and higher realisations, its revenue from operations increased 44% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,045 crore as compared to ₹725 crore in Q1 FY26.

On the operational level, Navin Fluorine’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹357 crore, marking a jump of 73% from ₹206 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The EBITDA margin also expanded to 34.12% in contrast to 28.41% YoY.

In investors' presentation, Navin Fluorine said it continues to see a constructive pricing environment in its hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) segment, supported by rising interest in contractual offtakes for upcoming capacities.

The company’s AHF facility, which commenced operations in Q4 FY26, is currently being ramped up. In addition, Navin Fluorine’s capex plan to expand HFC capacity—equivalent to up to 15,000 MTPA of R32—is progressing as scheduled and is expected to be commissioned in Q3 FY27.

“Putting our strategy into action for developing a new high growth, high margin business vertical for the future. Building on core fluorination capabilities, the vertical will focus on niche applications in high growth sunrise sectors—Data Centers, Electronics, Defence & Semiconductors,” Navin Fluorine said.

Along with the earnings, Navin Fluorine also announced a capital expenditure of ₹90 crore to establish adoption capacities aimed at scaling products within its Advanced Materials portfolio from lab scale to commercial-scale qualification. The proposed investment will be funded through internal accruals, with the capacity addition targeted for completion by Q2 FY28.

Here’s what analysts said

UBS

Analysts from UBS in a note on Thursday said that Navin Fluorine has delivered a strong start to FY27, with growth momentum remaining intact across its businesses. The performance was broad-based, with the CDMO segment continuing to lead growth, while the specialty chemicals and high performance products (HPP) segments also remained strong.

Jefferies

In a note, Jefferies analysts said that the company’s EBITDA and PAT were 16% and 25% ahead of its estimates, respectively, driven by strong performance in the HPP segment.

Jefferies expects the company’s new capex in advanced materials is likely to create another growth engine over the medium term. It has upgraded its FY27 and FY28 PAT estimates by 8% and 4%, respectively, and projects an EPS CAGR of 23% over FY26–29E.

According to NSE data, as of August 6, 2026, Navin Fluorine has a total market capitalisation of ₹41,409.49 crore.
