Marine Electricals shares gain 5% on bagging power distribution supply orders worth ₹251 crore; check details

Marine Electricals share price: Shares of the integrated technical services and engineering company, Marine Electricals (India), soared by as much as 5.11% to hit an intraday high of ₹434.90 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, September 28, after bagging orders aggregating approximately ₹250.78 crore, excluding GST.

According to a regulatory filing, the firm was awarded three power distribution supply orders, including one from Digital Edge DC (India) Private Limited, a second from Socomec India Private Limited, and a third from STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited.

The order from Digital Edge DC (India) is expected to be delivered over a period of 10-12 months, the filing read.

Marine Electricals will deliver the power distribution supply order to Socomec India Private Limited over a period of four months.

Furthermore, the company is expected to deliver its order to STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited over a period of 10-12 months.

Recent updates

In a separate regulatory filing dated September 22, the company said that it has entered into a head of terms agreement with Maritime 3 Group for developing and manufacturing India’s first indigenous Automatic Identification System (AIS) Base Station incorporating VDES (VHF Data Exchange System) technology.

This marks a significant milestone towards advancing indigenous maritime communication and navigation solutions, Marine Electricals added.

On September 21, the firm inaugurated its sixth manufacturing facility in Goa with a combined floor space of approximately 1,60,000 sq. ft., expanding the company’s overall manufacturing and operational capacity.

The new manufacturing facility in Goa will exclusively focus on manufacturing PTUs (Power Train Units) for Data Centres and Shore Conversion Systems for Ports, as per an exchange filing.

Starting its operations last week, on September 14, 2026, the company estimates the facility will achieve its full manufacturing capacity of approximately 800 PTU’s for data centres per year by March 2027.

Marine Electricals stock performance

At around 10:50 AM, the stock of Marine Electricals was trading 2.97% higher at ₹426.05 per equity share.

The scrip has jumped more than 2% in the past week and 5% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has rallied 101%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹450 per unit on September 3, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹150.86 apiece on March 30, 2026.

Marine Electricals has a total market capitalisation of ₹5,953.93 crore as of September 28, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
