HFCL shares soar 5% on securing export orders worth ₹533 crore; key details to know

HFCL share price today: Shares of HFCL soared as much as 4.94% to hit an intraday high of ₹203.50 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, August 3, after the telecom equipment maker bagged an export order worth $54.81 million, or approximately ₹522.73 crore.

At around 12:09 PM, the stock stood at ₹199.27 per equity share, up 2.76%.

The scrip has jumped more than 3% in the past week but lost 7% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has skyrocketed 189%, as per data on the NSE.

While the share hit a 52-week high of ₹229.50 apiece on July 7, 2026, it touched a year’s low of ₹59.82 on January 27, 2026.

Export orders

The telecom equipment manufacturer on Sunday said it has bagged export orders worth $54.81 million (about ₹522.73 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables.

In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the contracts are scheduled to be executed by January 2027.

"The company has secured export orders worth $54.81 million (equivalent to ₹522.73 crore) for the supply of optical fibre cables from renowned international customers. These orders reaffirm the confidence reposed by our customers in the company's manufacturing capabilities, technological excellence and product quality," HFCL said.

Recent updates

In a separate regulatory filing dated July 30, the company said it has secured an export order worth $46.13 million (equivalent to about ₹441.53 crore), for the supply of optical fiber cables, through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary, from a renowned international customer.

On July 10, HFCL had informed the exchanges that it secured an export order worth $51.98 million (equivalent to ₹495.80 crore), for the supply of optical fiber cable based data centre connectivity through its overseas wholly owned material subsidiary, from a renowned international customer.

Q1 results snapshot

The country's leading telecom infrastructure services provider reported an annual net profit growth of 104% to ₹1,608 crore in the first quarter compared with ₹789 crore in the same period last year.

Its net profit during the quarter came in at ₹179 crore compared with a loss of ₹42 crore in the year-ago period.
