Emcure Pharmaceuticals shares gained 3.5% to touch an intraday high of ₹1,807 apiece on Wednesday, June 10, after a block deal.

Global investment firm Bain Capital on Tuesday divested nearly a 2% stake in Emcure Pharmaceuticals to Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund for ₹612 crore through open market transactions.

BC Investments IV Ltd, a Mauritius-based investment vehicle and an affiliate of Bain Capital, offloaded 36 lakh shares, representing a 1.89% stake in Pune-based Emcure, according to block deal data on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The shares were disposed of at an average price of ₹1,700 apiece, taking the transaction value to ₹612 crore. Meanwhile, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund purchased the same number of shares, as per the data.

At 10:30 AM, Emcure Pharmaceuticals shares were trading at ₹1,797.7 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 3.15%.

Shares of the company have jumped 7% over a month, while they have soared 28% in the past six months. From the beginning of the year, Emcure Pharmaceuticals shares have increased over 28%.

Shares of the company had touched their one-year high of ₹1,830 apiece on May 5, 2026, while their 52-week low of ₹1,228.90 was hit on July 7, 2025.

Emcure Pharma Q4 FY26 earnings

Emcure Pharmaceuticals had posted a 28.81% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹243.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. In the same quarter last year, the company had reported a profit of ₹188.96 crore.

Its revenue from operations jumped 16.7% YoY to ₹2,469.7 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹2,116.24 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

During the quarter ended March 31, 2026, its domestic business recorded revenue of ₹977 crore, up 5.2% YoY from ₹929 crore in the same quarter of FY25. The domestic business reported a softer performance, largely due to the Zuventus portfolio and team reorganisation.

At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹485 crore for the March FY26 quarter, marking a 24.5% YoY increase from ₹390 crore in the year-ago period. Its EBITDA margin expanded to 19.7% for the reporting quarter, from 18.4% in Q4 FY25.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals has a total market capitalisation of ₹34,140.62 crore as of June 10, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
