According to the exchange filings, BSE’s board of directors earlier announced that the company is set to release its June quarter earnings report after the quarterly board meeting on Tuesday, August 4.

The company will also hold its Q1 earnings call with investors and analysts at 7 pm (IST) on the same day after the financial results have been filed with the stock exchange.

Management will address key points about the company’s performance, trends in the various business segments, and key growth strategies for the upcoming period.

Key things investors should watch

STT impact: Investors should monitor the impact of the central government’s Securities Transaction Tax (STT) hike on equity derivative trading, effective from April 1, 2026. This increase in duty is expected to appear in the financial statements in the April to June quarter results for FY27.

In the Union Budget 2026, the government increased STT on futures to 0.05% on the sell side, from 0.02% earlier levels; the STT on options premium was increased to 0.15% from 0.1%; and the STT on exercising options was increased to 0.15%, from 0.125%.

Investments: Key focus will also remain on BSE’s progress and forward guidance on infrastructure and technology investments allocations and spending, which supports the overall growth of the business.
Volume growth: Amid the backdrop of STT hikes, key focus will also remain on the trading volumes in the quarter under review, as capital market companies like BSE gain from an increase in volumes and trading activity.
Management commentary: Investors and analysts will also look out for any future outlook on demand or growth momentum, company margins, along with the budget and allocations for the financial year 2026-27.
