Muhurat Trading session 2025

On September 22, the NSE and BSE announced that the Muhurat Trading 2025 will be conducted on Tuesday, October 21, this year to mark the festival of Diwali.

The special trading session will be held between 1:45 pm and 2:45 pm, the stock exchanges said in a circular.

“All trades executed in this Diwali Muhurat trading session shall result in settlement obligations,” National Stock Exchange of India Limited said in its circular.

Last year, it was held from 6 pm to 7 pm.

The session will also mark the beginning of a new Samvat (Vikram Samvat 2082), the Hindu calendar year, that starts on Diwali. It is believed that trading during this special session brings prosperity and financial growth for the investors.
