SUMMARY
Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCC), in a regulatory filing on Tuesday, said that it has bagged orders worth ₹10,805 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of the middle-mile network of BharatNet in Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh.
The orders will be executed in three years and maintenance will be for 10 years.
Hyderabad-based Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited (NCC) on Tuesday announced that it has bagged two advance work orders worth ₹10,805 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for the middle-mile network of BharatNet in Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh.
The orders are for the Uttarakhand Telecom Circle worth ₹2,647.1 crore and for Madhya Pradesh DNH & DD Telecom Circles worth ₹8,157.4 crore, the construction and infrastructure company said in a regulatory filing dated March 25. The orders are for design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of the middle-mile network, it added.
“Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we are pleased to inform that, the Company has received 2 (two) Advance Work Orders dated March 25, 2025 from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation and maintenance of middle-mile network of BharatNet, in Uttarakhand Telecom Circle and Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles,” NCC said in the filing.
For the Uttarakhand Telecom Circle order, Capital Expenditure (Capex) is ₹1543.35 crore, and Operating Expenditure (Opex) is ₹1103.77. Similarly for Madhya Pradesh, DNH & DD Telecom Circles, Capex is ₹4189.05, while Opex is ₹3968.39 crore.
The orders will be executed in three years and maintenance will be for 10 years, the filing stated. On March 20, NCC secured a ₹2,129.6 crore order from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (AP CRDA) for construction activities regarding the Amaravati Capital City Project.
The company announced the order post-market hours. NCC shares settled 1.95% down at ₹205.10 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday, March 25. The company’s market capitalisation stood at ₹12,877.13 crore. The company’s scrip touched its 52-week high of ₹364.50 per share in July 2024, while it hit its 52-week low of ₹170.05 apiece on March 3, 2025.
