SBI Funds Management IPO price band set at ₹545-₹574 per share; check lot size and key dates

India's largest fund house, SBI Funds Management, has fixed a price band of ₹545 to ₹574 per share for its mega initial public offering. The issue will open on July 14 and conclude on July 16. The bidding for anchor investors will take place on July 13.

The initial share sale is solely an offer for sale (OFS) of 20.37 crore shares, aggregating to ₹11,692.90 crore, by promoters State Bank of India and Amundi India Holding. There is no fresh issuance of shares.

Since there is no fresh issuance of shares, the company will not get any proceeds from the issue. The money raised will go to selling promoters.

"Our company expects that listing of the equity shares will enhance our visibility and brand image as well as provide a public market for the equity shares in India," the red herring prospectus (RHP) said.

SBI Mutual Fund said that a discount of ₹54 per share will be offered to eligible employees.

SBI Funds Management IPO: Lot size

The minimum bid size for an application is fixed at 26 shares and in multiples thereof. Half of the offer is reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35% for retail investors and 15% for non-institutional investors.

  • Basis of allotment: July 17
  • Initiation of refunds: July 20
  • Credit of shares to Demat account: July 20
  • Listing: July 21

SBI Funds Management is the largest domestic asset management company (AMC) by quarterly average mutual fund assets under management (QAAUM), with QAAUM of ₹12,509.98 billion and a mutual fund market share of 15.3% as of March 31, 2026.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, BofA Securities India, Axis Capital, HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India), Jefferies India, ICICI Securities, JM Financial, SBI Capital Markets and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors are the issue's book-running lead managers.

KFin Technologies serves as the registrar for the offer.

The shares of the company will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the BSE.
