The initial public offering was subscribed to a whopping 188.85 times during the three-day subscription window. It got bids for 75,30,51,278 shares as against 39,87,491 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

Non-institutional investors led the bidding, as they subscribed their portion 374.58 times, with bids for 40,73,51,552 shares compared to 10,87,498 shares reserved.

Retail investors applied to 14,89,25,678 shares vs 7,24,999 shares reserved for them, leading to 205.42 times subscription.

The qualified institutional buyers quota was booked 90.47 times with bids for 19,67,74,048 shares compared to 21,74,994 shares on offer.

The initial share sale was exclusively a fresh issuance of shares valued at ₹290 crore.

The funds raised will be used for working capital needs, investment in research, design and development of new power electronics equipment and general corporate purposes.

With a price band of ₹400 to ₹425 per share, a lot consisted of 34 shares.
