Jewellery retailer Lalithaa Jewellery Mart Ltd's initial public offering was fully subscribed on Tuesday, August 18, the second day of bidding.

It was subscribed 1.60 times, with bids for 10,04,85,118 shares compared to 6,27,61,403 shares on offer, according to the NSE data until 12:55 pm.

The category for retail investors received 1.75 times subscription. The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 67% and that of non-institutional investors 2.47 times.

  1. Lalithaa Jewellery Mart IPO subscription period: The issue is live from Monday, August 17, to Wednesday, August 19.
  2. Lalithaa Jewellery IPO price band: The price range has been set at ₹190 to ₹201 per share.
  3. IPO offer structure: The ₹1,700 crore initial public offering is a combination of a fresh issuance of shares valued at ₹1,200 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹500 crore.
  4. Objectives: Under the OFS, promoter M Kiram Kumar Jain will offload his stake. The fresh issue proceeds will be used for establishing 10 new stores and corporate general purposes.
  5. Lalithaa Jewellery IPO anchor investors: Prior to the IPO, the company attracted ₹508 crore from anchor investors, including Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Sanshi Fund-I, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company, Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund, Bandhan MF and Bajaj Life Insurance.
  6. Lalithaa Jewellery IPO lot size: Retail investors can apply for at least 74 shares and in multiples thereof.
  7. Reservation: The company has reserved 50% of the net offer for QIBs, 15% for NIIs and 10% for retail investors.
  8. Book-running lead manager and registrar: Anand Rathi Advisors and Anand Rathi Advisors are the book-running lead managers, while MUFG Intime India is the registrar.
  9. Lalithaa Jewellery IPO allotment date: The basis of allotment is expected to be finalised on Thursday, August 20.
  10. Listing date: The listing on the NSE and the BSE will occur on August 24.
