The initial public offering of precision engineering components manufacturer Indo MIM Limited open for subscription on Thursday, July 23. The issue, which has fixed a price band of ₹461 to ₹485 per share, will end on July 27.

The ₹3,811.21 crore book-built issue is a mix of new equity shares valued at ₹500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹3,311.21 crore by shareholders Green Meadows Investments, Anuradha Koduri and Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

The money raised will be used for repayment of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the company and corporate general purposes.

Indo MIM IPO: Lot size

The minimum investment for an application is 30 shares and in multiples thereafter. Half of the net offer is reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 15% for non-institutional investors (NIIs) and the remaining 35% for retail individual investors (RIIs).

Prior to the IPO, the company mobilised ₹1,140.99 crore from anchor investors, including Government Pension Fund Global, Amansa Holdings, BlackRock Global Funds, Goldman Sachs, Natixis International Fund, Societe Generale, ICICI Prudential AMC, HDFC Mutual Fund (MF), SBI Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Kotak Mahindra AMC, Axis MF and HSBC MF, among others.

Incorporated in 1996, Indo MIM is engaged in manufacturing precision engineering components using Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) technology.

According to a Frost & Sullivan report, Indo MIM is the largest manufacturer of precision engineering components globally using MIM technology, with a 6.8% market share at the global stage by revenue in calendar year 2025, a position it has maintained for the past six years.

Besides MIM, the firm also uses precision machining, investment casting, ceramic injection moulding and metal 3D printing technologies to serve the automotive, defence, medical, consumer and aerospace sectors.
