HDB Financial IPO allotment status is expected to be finalised on Monday, June 30, and the bid finalisation details will be available on the websites of the NSE, the BSE and the registrar, MUFG Intime India.

During the three-day bidding window, the initial share sale received 16.69 times the subscription with robust participation from institutional investors. It secured bids for 2,17,67,62,140 equity shares compared to 13,04,42,855 shares on offer.

The part reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) fetched 55.47 times the subscription, while the non-institutional investors' portion got subscribed 9.99 times. The retail investors portion was booked 1.41 times.

Before the IPO, HDB Financial Services, a subsidiary of HDFC Bank, mobilised ₹3,369 crore from anchor investors.

The ₹12,500 crore public issue is a fresh issuance of shares worth ₹2,500 crore and an offer for sale of ₹10,000 crore by HDFC Bank. The price range was fixed at ₹700-₹740 per share, and the application size was 20 shares.

The money raised will be used for strengthening the NBFC's Tier-I capital base. "In addition, our company expects to receive the benefits of the listing of the equity shares on the stock exchanges, including enhancement of our company’s brand name and creation of a public market for our equity shares in India," the firm said in its RHP.

According to Financial Express, the unlisted shares of HDB Financial are trading at ₹797 apiece, with a grey market premium (GMP) of 7.7% or ₹57 over the upper price band of ₹740.
