The basis of allotment of Dhoot Transmission is expected to be finalised on Thursday, August 13. Investors who have placed bids for the IPO can check bid finalisation details on the NSE, the BSE and KFin Technologies websites.

The initial public offering was subscribed 74.21 times, as it mobilised bids for 1,85,19,71,585 shares compared to 2,49,56,363 shares on offer, according to the NSE data.

The part reserved for qualified institutional investors was subscribed a whopping 212.92 times, while non-institutional investors' portion was booked 51.93 times. The quota for retail investors was subscribed 8.12 times.

The ₹3,066.89 crore initial share sale was a mix of new equity shares worth ₹1,400 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of ₹1,666.89 crore by promoters BC Asia Investments XV and Mangalam Capital Pvt Ltd.

The net proceeds from the issue will be used for debt clearance of the company and its subsidiaries, setting up a new wiring harness manufacturing facility, funding inorganic growth via acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

With a price band of ₹829 to ₹871 per share, a lot consisted of 17 shares.

Founded in 1999, Dhoot Transmission makes products like wiring harnesses, automotive switches, power cords, cables, electronic sensors and controllers, connectors and terminals.

Its offerings cater to commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, off-road vehicles, farm equipment, earth movers, medical devices and domestic appliances.
