Cube Highways Trust launched its ₹5,000-crore Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) public issue on Wednesday, July 22. The issue, which has set a price band of ₹151 to ₹152 per unit, will conclude on July 24.

The issue is solely an offer for sale (OFS) of units aggregating to ₹5,000 crore by existing unitholders as the trust transitions from a privately listed InvIT to a publicly listed InvIT.

Before the issue, the trust raised ₹1,687.5 crore from anchor investors, including Prazim Trading and Investment Co Pvt Ltd, SBI Life Insurance Company, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Nippon India Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, SBI Mutual Fund, and Tata Mutual Fund, among others.

The InvIT also secured ₹1,250 crore from strategic investors via unit subscription agreements executed on July 13. The overall issue size includes the strategic investor quota.

As per the agreement, strategic investors will subscribe to 8.22 crore units at ₹152 per unit totalling ₹1,250 crore.

Prazim Trading and Investment Company will invest ₹950 crore by subscribing to 6.25 crore units. HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd and HDFC Pension Fund Management have committed ₹100 crore each, while Axis Max Life Insurance and WhiteOak Capital REIT & InvIT Alternatives Fund I will invest ₹50 crore each.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 95 units and in multiples thereof.

The trust has set aside 75% of the net offer for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), while the remaining 25% is reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs).

SEBI-registered InvIT Cube Highways Trust owns a portfolio of 27 operational road assets extending 8,754 lane kilometres with an average residual concession life of 18 years.

Cube Highways Trust InvIT timeline

Cube Highways Trust InvIT allotment will occur on July 29, while refunds and credit of units to allottees are likely on July 30. The units are likely to debut on August 3.

The units will be listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.
