Shares of Caliber Mining and Logistics debuted at ₹500.25 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, July 24. This reflects a premium of 17.98% over the IPO issue price of ₹424 per share.

On the BSE, the stock started trading at ₹504 per equity share, up 18.87% from the issue price.

Caliber Mining and Logistics IPO: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consisted of 35 shares and cost ₹14,840. Investors who received Caliber Mining and Logistics IPO allotment made ₹2,668.75 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹17,508.75, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The initial share sale was booked a whopping 146.64 times during the three-day subscription period. It got bids for 1,14,90,37,400 shares compared to 78,35,821 shares on offer, as per the NSE data.

The ₹450 crore initial public offering was a mix of a fresh issuance of shares totalling ₹400 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of ₹50 crore by promoters Rahul Roshanlal Chadda, Anuj Krishanlal Chadda, Mohit Satishkumar Chadda, and Manish Krishanlal Chadda.

The money raised will be utilised to clear outstanding borrowings availed by the company and capital expenditure towards buying commercial vehicles, machinery and plant. A part will also be used for general corporate purposes.

Before the IPO, the company mobilised ₹135 crore from anchor investors, including Carnelian India Amritkaal Fund, Abakkus Four2Eight Opportunities Fund, Ashoka India Equity Investment Trust Plc, Quant Mutual Fund and Helios Mutual Fund.

Caliber Mining and Logistics Ltd is an integrated service provider engaged in coal extraction and coal logistics. The Maharashtra-based firm offers comprehensive mining and logistics services such as coal loading and unloading, overburden removal, coal extraction, road transportation and rail transportation coordination.

The company's largest customers are subsidiaries of Coal India Ltd, including Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) and Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL).
