The basis of allotment of the Alpine Texworld IPO is expected to be finalised on Friday, July 17. The bid finalisation details will be available on the websites of the registrar, KFin Technologies, the NSE and the BSE.

The ₹126.25 crore IPO got bids for 1,68,76,274 shares as against 1,20,24,000 shares on offer, translating to 1.40 times subscription, as per NSE data.

The portion meant for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) fetched 1.09 times subscription. The category for non-institutional investors (NIIs) attracted 1.09-times subscription, while the retail investors segment got subscribed 1.54 times.

The public issue, with a price band of ₹100 to ₹105 per share, was entirely a fresh issuance of 1.20 crore equity shares, with no offer for sale (OFS) component.

The fresh issue proceeds will be used for the following objectives:

• Proposing to finance the cost of establishing a new weaving unit at proposed manufacturing unit 3 to expand its production capabilities
• Clear outstanding borrowings
• General corporate purposes

"In addition, our company expects to receive the benefit of listing the equity shares on the stock exchanges and enhancement of our company’s visibility and brand image and the creation of a public market for our equity shares in India," the company said in its red herring prospectus (RHP).

Alpine Texworld manufactures cotton yarn and grey fabric through its integrated spinning and weaving operations.
