Waaree Energies Q1 FY27 results: Net profit rises 14% to ₹850 crore; revenue grows to ₹7,932 crore YoY

Q1 FY27 results: Waaree Energies reported a 14% surge in its consolidated net profit at ₹850 crore on Wednesday, July 29, for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27) as against ₹745 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s revenue from operations increased 79% in the April-June period to ₹7,932 crore as compared to ₹4,426 crore on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

On the operational front, Waaree Energy’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation & amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter grew 44% to ₹1,440 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹997 crore in the corresponding quarter for the previous fiscal year.

The EBITDA margin for the quarter, however, contracted to 18.15% in the reporting quarter in contrast to 22.53% YoY.

Waaree Energies share price trends

On Wednesday, Waaree Energies shares closed at ₹2,736.2 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 1.56%. The earnings, however, came after the market hours.

From the beginning of the year, Waaree Energies shares have declined 8%. Over a month’s time, the stock has slipped 5.5%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹3,865 on September 12, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹2,403 on January 21, 2026.

Recent updates

On July 22, 2026, the company informed exchanges that Waaree Solar Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, received an order on July 21, 2026, for the supply of 125 MW solar modules from a renowned customer that owns and manages utility-scale renewable power projects.

Under the agreement, Waaree Solar Americas will supply its high-efficiency HJT (Heterojunction Technology) solar modules to the customer.

On July 17, the company said that Waaree Energies received an order on July 16, 2026, for supply of 212 MW solar modules from a renowned customer that owns and manages utility-scale renewable power projects. The company added that the above order is incremental to the existing 350 MW order received from the customer, thereby increasing the total order capacity to 562 MW.

On July 16, Waaree Energy Storage Solutions Pvt Ltd (Waaree ESS), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, announced the commencement of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Container Manufacturing Facility, which it believes marks a major milestone in building India's integrated energy storage manufacturing ecosystem.

In June 2026, Waaree Energies said that it received shareholders' approval to raise up to ₹10,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares on a qualified institutional placement (QIP) basis.

According to NSE data, as of July 29, 2026, Waaree Energies has a total market capitalisation of ₹78,428.14 crore.
