It reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹9,352 crore during the quarter under review, reflecting an 89% year-on-year (YoY) surge from ₹4,961 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

Its bottom-line growth was bolstered by higher sales volume amid rising global metal prices, as well as the weakening rupee's exchange rate.

At an operational level, it reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), which stood at ₹18,447 crore for the reporting quarter, up 59% YoY from ₹11,618 crore in Q4 FY25.

Furthermore, its EBITDA margin improved by 915 basis points (bps) YoY to 44% in the March FY26 quarter, as against 35% in the year-ago period.
