TVS Motor Company, one of India's leading two and three-wheeler manufacturers, on Tuesday, July 21, reported its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27).

The company reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹13,896 crore, up 38% from ₹10,081 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the earnings release showed.

TVS Motor also posted a record EBITDA of ₹1,779 crore, marking a 41% year-on-year increase from ₹1,260 crore. Its EBITDA margin improved by 30 basis points to 12.8%, compared with 12.5% in the year-ago period.

Profit after tax (PAT) rose 51% to ₹1,174 crore from ₹776 crore in the June quarter of FY26.

The company said the reported PAT includes a fair valuation gain of ₹150 crore on investments, compared with a fair valuation gain of ₹28 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Other key details

TVS Motor said that commodity prices witnessed a sharp upward trend during the quarter due to global market uncertainties, resulting in increased input costs.

The company partially mitigated the cost increases through price adjustments and focused cost optimisation initiatives, including scale benefits.

Sales Q1 FY27

  • During the quarter under review, the company said it registered its highest-ever quarterly sales. The overall two- and three-wheelers grew by 28% to 1.63 million units as against 1.28 million units registered in the quarter ended June 2025.

  • Motorcycle sales during the quarter under review grew by 19%, recording 0.74 million units as against 0.62 million units in the quarter ended June 2025.

  • Scooter sales during the quarter under review grew by 36% to 0.68 million units as against 0.50 million units in the quarter ended June 2025.

  • International Business reported a growth of 33% with sales of 0.47 million units in Q1F Y27 as against 0.35 million units in the first quarter of 2025-26.

  • Two-wheeler electric vehicles grew by 86%, registering sales of 129,940 units in the first quarter of 2026-27 as against 70,060 units during the first quarter of 2025-26. TVS Motor now has more than 1 million delighted EV customers.

  • Three-wheelers sales for the quarter under review grew by 48% to 66,697 units in the first quarter ended June 2026 as against 44,978 units in the year ended June 2025.
