According to the company's quarterly business update, Titan expects jewellery segment revenue to grow 39% YoY, driven by healthy festive and Akshaya Tritiya demand as well as high double-digits growth in average ticket size.

Meanwhile, the company’s other businesses, like watches and eyecare, are expected to report 23% YoY growth, respectively. The Tata Group company opened 77 new stores across its different verticals during the quarter, taking its total store count to 3,680.

According to experts, Titan’s Q1FY27 revenue may increase by 32% to 36% YoY in the range of ₹21,910 to ₹22,475 crore, but could decline by up to 16% compared to previous quarter. Titan reported revenue of ₹16,523 crore in Q1FY26 and ₹26,920 crore in the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, its net profit is projected to grow by 24 to 27% YoY to ₹1,360 to ₹1,390 crore. The company's net profit stood at ₹1,091 crore a year ago and ₹1,179 crore in Q4FY26.

During the quarterly result announcement, investors will watch management commentary on the demand outlook amid higher gold prices. Key metrics like same-store sales growth (SSSG), along with revenue growth and margins of different segments, will also be closely tracked.

Ahead of the Q1 result announcement, Titan shares rose 1.7% to hit a 52-week high of ₹5,005 per share on NSE. So far this year, Titan stock has delivered over 23% return to its shareholders.

Technical outlook

Titan has broken above the upper boundary of its rising channel and is testing the psychological ₹5,000 level. The stock remains firmly above its 20-day, 50-day and 200-day EMAs, confirming a strong bullish trend. However, RSI near 75 indicates overbought conditions, which could lead to some near-term consolidation or profit-booking.

A sustained move above ₹5,000 could extend the rally towards ₹5,100–₹5,250. On the downside, ₹4,850–₹4,800 is the immediate support zone, while a deeper pullback may find support near the 20-day EMA around ₹4,770.

Options outlook

Titan's August 25 expiry has an at-the-money (ATM) strike at 5,000 as of August 6, and the call and put options are trading at ₹230. By expiry, this pricing reflects an implied move of about ±4.6%. Let's look at Titan's stock performance over the last three years around earnings announcements to see anticipated moves.

Options strategy for Titan

Titan is expected to move ±4.6%, according to the options market. Traders who want to capitalise from this expected volatility may consider long or short volatility strategies, straddles are a common option in this case.

A long straddle involves buying an at-the-money call option and an at-the-money put option with the same strike price and expiry date. This strategy is profitable if the stock price moves by more than ±4.6%.

In contrast, a short straddle involves selling both at-the-money call and put options. This approach is profitable when the stock price remains within the implied range after earnings are announced, due to time decay and a drop in implied volatility.
