Swaraj Engines Q4 results: Net profit rises 21%; board recommends dividend of ₹110 for FY26

Swaraj Engines reported a net profit of ₹55 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year (Q4 FY26) on Monday, March 13, as compared to ₹45 crore reported in the same period of the previous fiscal year, registering a growth of 21.1%.

The company’s revenue from operations jumped 20.2% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to ₹546 crore in the January to March quarter as against ₹454 crore seen in Q4 FY25.

The Mohali-based diesel engine maker reported stable operating performance as its operating profit, also known as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), advanced 23% to ₹75 crore from ₹61 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25.

Its margin remained stable and advanced marginally to 13.83% YoY from 13.52%.

The company's Q4 engine sales stood at 55,004 units as compared to 45,594 units sold during the same period last year.

Apart from earnings, the company’s board of directors has also recommended an equity dividend of ₹110 per share for the FY26.

Swaraj Engines, in a regulatory filing, said the record date for the Annual General Meeting and dividend payment has been fixed as Friday, July 3, 2026, and added that the dividend, if declared at the AGM, will be paid or dispatched after Monday, July 20, 2026.

“Driven by strong customer demand, Swaraj Engines continued to showcase impressive performance in '04 of the fiscal year 2026. The company sustained its growth momentum, marking the 16th consecutive quarter of year-over-year profit growth. Swaraj Engines achieved its highest-ever engine sales volume and profit for the quarter ended 31st March 2025,” the company said in a statement.

Swaraj Engines' FY26

Amid continuous growth throughout all four quarters of FY26, the company achieved its sixth consecutive year of increased engine sales and profit compared to each prior year.

Swaraj Engines reported that its net operating revenue for FY26 rose 19.3% YoY to ₹2,007.13 crore from ₹1,681.89 crore in the previous year. The firm in a statement said profit before exceptional items and tax in the financial year stood at ₹266.98 crore compared to ₹223.05 crore last year, while profit after tax increased 18.3% to ₹196.31 crore from ₹165.98 crore, marking its highest-ever annual profit.

On Monday, shares of Swaraj Engines settled at ₹3,906.80 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, falling 0.75%. The earnings were announced after the market hours.

Swaraj Engines Limited was set up in 1985 in Mohali, Punjab, and is primarily engaged in the business of supplying engines to the Swaraj Division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
