Reliance Industries Q3 results: Oil-to-telecom conglomerate Reliance Industries announced its December quarter earnings today. Reliance Industries Q3 net profit rose 0.56% YoY to ₹18,645 crore. On a sequential basis, net profit jumped 2.6% QoQ, supported by strong growth in retail and telecom business.

Consolidated revenues from operations rose to ₹2.69 lakh crore, up 10.5% YoY and 4.0% QoQ. Reliance Industries reported ₹2.43 lakh crore in Q3FY25 and ₹2.58 lakh crore in previous quarter.

  • Revenue from operations increased by 10.5% YoY to ₹2.69 lakh crore compared to ₹2.43 lakh crore in the same quarter of last year.
  • Consolidated EBITDA increases by 6.1% YoY to ₹50,932 crore.
  • EBITDA margin contracted by 70 basis points to 17.3% in Q3FY26 from 18% in Q3FY25
  • Net profit attributable to the company's owners rose 0.56% YoY and 2.6% QoQ to ₹18,645 crore.
  • Capital expenditure stood at ₹33,826 crore ($3.8 billion) driven by investments in ongoing growth projects in O2C and New Energy businesses; and continued capital outlay towards strengthening and expansion of the Jio and Retail network and infrastructure.

Jio net profit jumps 11.2% YoY

Jio Platforms which provides telecom and internet services under the Reliance Jio brand, reported a 12.7% YoY growth in gross revenue to ₹43,683 crore in the December quarter compared to ₹38,750 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Jio EBITDA rose by 16.4% to ₹19,303 crore in the Q3FY26 compared to ₹16,585 crore in the year-ago period. Net profit rose by 11.2% YoY to ₹7,629 crore in the third quarter compared to ₹6,861 crore in the year-ago period.

Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom operator, posted a 6.9% year-on-year rise in total subscriber base to 515.3 million as of December 2025. Net subscriber addition stood at 8.9 million during the quarter. The 5G network accounted for ~53% of total wireless traffic, driven by a consistent increase in customer engagement.

ARPU, a key performance indicator, increased further to ₹213.7 rising 5.1% YoY driven by with higher customer engagement and partly offset by promotional offers for unlimited 5G and fixed broadband services.

Reliance Retail net profit rise 2.7% YoY

Reliance Retail Ventures' revenue rose by 9.2% YoY to ₹86,951 crore in the third quarter of FY26 compared to ₹79,595 crore in the year-ago quarter. Meanwhile, EBITDA sae marginal rise 1.3% YoY to ₹6,915 crore.

Reliance Retail net profit increased by 2.7% YoY to ₹3,551 crore from ₹3,458 crore in the same quarter of FY25. Reliance Retail further expanded its business during the quarter by opening 431 new stores, taking the total store count to 19,979 with area under operation at 78.1 million sq. ft. The company has a registered customer base of 378 million, up 11.8% YoY.

Reliance Retail business delivered consistent performance during the December quarter supported by upbeat festive demand. JioMart platform crossed daily orders of 1.6 million and recorded 53% QoQ and 360%+ YoY growth in average daily orders, establishing itself as the fastest-growing player in hyper-local commerce.

Oil to Chemicals (O2C) revenue jump 8.4% YoY

The oil to chemicals business segment posted a 8.4% YoY rise in revenue to ₹162,095 crore ($18 billion) compared to ₹149,595 crore in Q3FY25. Exports revenue declined 1.2% YoY to ₹66,830 compared to ₹67,672 crore in the same quarter a year-ago.

Consolidated EBITDA rose by 14.6% YoY to ₹16,507 crore ($1.8 billion) due to sharp increase in transportation fuel cracks and higher sulphur realisation and partially offset by weakness in downstream chemical margins and higher feedstock freight rates.

Oil and Gas (Exploration & Production) segment

Segment revenue for this business declined by 8.4% YoY to ₹5,833 crore during the December quarter. The lower revenue was because of lower volumes and price realisation for KGD6 gas and condensate. EBITDA declined 12.7% YoY to ₹4,857 crore on a yearly basis. EBITDA margin declined by 410 basis points to 83.3%.
