Q1 results: The earnings season is underway, and several firms will release their latest set of numbers for the June quarter of the financial year 2025-26 on Wednesday, July 23. They include information technology giant Infosys, fast-moving consumer goods company Tata Consumer Products, drugmaker Dr Reddy's Laboratories, home loan provider Bajaj Housing Finance, chemicals conglomerate SRF, technology services firm Persistent Systems, financial software provider Oracle Financial Services Software, and digital services and solutions provider Coforge Ltd.

On Tuesday, Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) posted an 11% growth in profit after tax to ₹1,746 crore for Q1 of this fiscal year, compared to ₹1,577 crore in the year-ago period.

The total income surged to ₹6,918 crore in the quarter under review as against ₹6,766 crore in Q1 FY25.

"Our performance this quarter reflects the robustness of IRFC's financial strategy and its critical role in advancing the infrastructure goals of Indian Railways," Manoj Kumar Dubey, Chairman and Managing Director of IRFC, said.
