It had posted net profit of ₹192.06 crore in the April-June period a year ago, the company said in a BSE filing.

The company recorded revenue from operations of ₹891.46 crore in Q1 FY27, down 4.86% from ₹891.46 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal.

On the operational level, the company's EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) stood at ₹170 crore, reflecting a decline of 36.11% from ₹266 crore in Q1 FY26. The EBITDA margin was at 19.08% vs 28.41% a year back.

Kumar Venkatasubramanian, P&G Hygiene and Health Care's Managing Director, said, "We continue to invest strategically behind our brands, innovation and market capabilities, even as the geopolitical environment remains challenging."

"Our confidence in the Integrated Growth Strategy - focused product portfolio of daily use categories where performance drives brand choice, superiority (of product performance, packaging, brand communication, retail execution and value), productivity, constructive disruption, and an agile and accountable organization; remains unwavering, and we believe the continued execution of this strategy will strengthen our business, unlock future growth opportunities and build an even stronger company for the future," he added.

Total expenses increased 7.54% to ₹731 crore in the June quarter.

P&G Hygiene and Health Care reported a 4.64% decline in total income of ₹900.89 crore.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care share performance

Shares of P&G Hygiene and Health Care were trading 3.71% lower at ₹8,640.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 1:22 pm.

The stock had hit its 52-week high of ₹14,540 per share on July 30, 2025, while its year's low of ₹8,481 apiece was recorded on July 29, 2026.

The scrip has declined 4.87% in the past week and 2.86% in a month. Year-to-date, it slipped 34%.
