Automobile giant Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is set to announce its June quarter (Q1FY27) results on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

M&M standalone revenue is expected to increase 18% to 22% YoY at ₹40,310 to ₹41,550 crore as the company undertook price hikes of up to 2.7% in July 2026 which led to some pre-buying in the first quarter. As a result, revenue could see a double-digit growth driven by higher sales volume.

Meanwhile, M&M net profit could remain flat as higher raw material costs during the quarter mitigated the impact of price hikes. Net profit could see a 1% to 2% YoY rise but could fall 4 to 5% compared to the previous quarter in the range of ₹3,490 to ₹3,530 crore.

M&M reported a standalone revenue of ₹34,143 crore in the June quarter of FY26 and ₹39,601 crore in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, its net profit stood at ₹3,450 crore in Q1FY26 and ₹3,737 crore in Q4FY26. Sales volume is expected to rise 16 to 20% YoY supported by growth in tractors and passenger vehicles sales on back of a price hike.

Investors will keep an eye on the company’s sales volume growth and margins. Management commentary on demand outlook for tractors and passenger vehicles. Impact of high input cost on profitability will also be closely tracked.

Ahead of the Q1 result announcement, M&M shares closed 1.3% lower at ₹3,228. So far this year, M&M shares have fallen over 13%.

Technical outlook

Mahindra & Mahindra is showing an improving short-term structure, with the stock trading above its rising 20-day EMA and 50-day EMA. The DMI setup is positive, with +DI well above –DI, though ADX near 20 suggests the trend is still developing. A sustained move above ₹3,250–3,280 could strengthen momentum towards ₹3,399. Immediate support is placed around ₹3,170–3,145. A break below this zone may weaken the setup and open the way towards ₹3,050.

Options outlook

M&M’s at-the-money (ATM) options for 28 August expiry is at 3,250, with both call and put options priced at ₹212. This implies a potential price swing of approximately ±6.6% based on the 29 July closing price.
