Just Dial Q3 profit rises 43%, hits record quarterly revenue at ₹287 crore

Just Dial Q3 results: Reliance-owned Just Dial Ltd. announced its third-quarter results for the 2024-25 fiscal year on Friday, January 10.

The company reported a 42.7% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit, supported by reduced expenses. The profit grew to ₹131.31 crore in the December-ended quarter of FY25 from ₹92.01 crore in the year-ago period.

The local search engine's revenue from operations grew 8.4% to hit its “highest-ever quarterly revenue” of ₹287.33 crore, surpassing ₹265.05 crore in the same period a year ago.

The company’s EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) margin expanded to 30.1% in Q3FY25 from 22.8% in Q3FY24. The EBITDA for the December quarter stood at ₹86.6 crore, up 43.4%.

Its total expenses stood at ₹215.57 crore, down 1.55% from the year-ago period and total income was up 7.3% during the quarter at ₹364.74 crore.

Commenting on the results, Chief Growth Officer Shwetank Dixit said that the company continues to focus on driving top-line growth while maintaining operational efficiency.

"By enhancing our offerings for users and providing businesses with easy-to-use, advanced tools, we are creating sustainable growth for all stakeholders," Dixit commented.

During the quarter, Just Dial prioritised empowering SMEs by introducing tools designed to simplify campaign management and streamline lead conversion processes.

Share performance

Shares of Just Dial closed at ₹1,034, down 3.83% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, January 10. However, the results were declared after market hours on Friday.

The scrip tanked 2.05% over the past five days and 3.80% during the last month on the NSE.

However, the stock has gained 4.41% over the past six months and 17.41% over a year.

The company has a total market capitalisation of ₹8,793.17 crore as of January 11, 2024, according to the NSE.
