ICICI Lombard GIC Q4 earnings: PAT jumps 7% YoY to ₹547 crore; ₹7 per share dividend declared

ICICI Lombard GIC Q4 earnings: ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company (GIC) posted a 7.25% YoY increase in its profit after tax (PAT) to ₹546.56 crore for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26).

In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, it logged a profit of ₹509.59 crore, it reported in a regulatory filing dated Wednesday, April 15.

Its total income stood at ₹6,618.76 crore during the quarter under review, reflecting a 17.12% YoY jump from ₹5,651.17 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

ICICI Bank’s general insurance arm also recorded a 10.28% YoY growth in its net premium earned at ₹5,790.53 crore for the March quarter of FY26, compared to ₹5,225.58 crore in the same period of FY25.

Its combined ratio stood at 101.2% for the reporting quarter, in comparison with 102.5% it logged in the fourth quarter of FY25.

The combined ratio in insurance measures an insurer's underwriting profitability by adding incurred losses (claims) and expenses, then dividing by earned premiums.

Divided recommended

ICICI Lombard GIC's board of directors also recommended a final dividend of ₹7 per equity share, at the rate of 70%, with a face value of ₹10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to approval of the Members of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Furthermore, it added that the dividend on equity shares will be paid to the eligible members after the same is approved by the members of the company at the ensuing AGM.

ICICI Lombard GIC stock performance

Shares of ICICI Lombard GIC closed 4.25% higher at ₹1,858.00 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday. However, the dividend and earnings announcement were made after the market closed.

The stock has advanced more than 6% in the past week and 1% over the month. However, on a year-to-date basis, it has fallen nearly 5%.

While the scrip hit a 52-week high of ₹2,068.70 on July 1, 2025, it reached a year’s low of ₹1,629.50 per equity share on April 2, 2026.
