HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFCAMC), the country's leading asset management company, on Wednesday, October 15, reported net profit of ₹718 crore in the second quarter of current financial year, marking an increase of 24% from ₹577 crore in the same period last year.

Its revenue from operations advanced 16% to ₹1,026 crore from ₹887 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's total expenses during the quarter rose 24% to ₹246 crore from ₹199 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's board approved issuing bonus shares in ratio of 1:1 that is its shareholders, as on record date, will receive one bonus shares for every one share held.

The record date for determining the entitlement of the members of the company to receive bonus equity shares is fixed as Wednesday, November 26, 2025, HDFCAMC said in an exchange filing.

During the period ended September 30, 2025, the Company has paid a final dividend of 90 per equity share (face value of ₹5 each) for the year ended March 31, 2025 as approved by its shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on June 25, 2025.

The company is in the business of providing asset management services to HDFC Mutual Fund & alternative investment funds and portfolio management & advisory services to clients.

Following its earnings announcement, shares of HDFCAMC rose as much as 3.84% to hit an intraday high of ₹5,809.

The stock in July-September period rose 6.56% outperforming the NIFTY50 index which declined 3.55%.

As of 3:12 pm, HDFCMC shares traded 3.44% higher at ₹5,786.50, outperforming the NIFTY50 index which was up 0.75%.
