HDFC AMC Q4 results: Net profit falls 2% YoY to ₹623 crore; ₹54 per share dividend recommended

HDFC AMC Q4 earnings: HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) on Thursday, April 16, reported its results for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26), posting a 2.42% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its standalone net profit to ₹623.29 crore.

In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, it had logged a profit of ₹638.73 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

On a sequential basis, its net profit posted a 19.06% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) dip from ₹770.09 crore in the December quarter of FY26.

The asset management and mutual fund arm of HDFC Bank, however, recorded a 16.56% YoY increase in its revenue from operations to ₹1,050.48 crore for the reporting quarter, compared to ₹901.22 crore in the March quarter of FY25.

Quarter-on-quarter, the company’s revenue from operations fell 2.21% sequentially from ₹1,074.25 crore in the previous quarter of FY26.

Final dividend

HDFC AMC’s board of directors, at their meeting held on April 16, also considered and recommended a final dividend of ₹54 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.

“The final dividend, if approved by the shareholders, will be remitted within the applicable regulatory timelines after the Annual General Meeting,” the company stated.

ESOP

Its board of directors also approved the grant of 35,710 employee stock options and 34,825 performance-linked stock units (PSUs), representing 70,535 equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each to the eligible employees of HDFC AMC and its subsidiary, HDFC AMC International (IFSC).

The aforementioned employee stock options and PSUs grant were approved under the Employees Stock Options and Performance-linked Stock Units Scheme – 2025 (ESOP & PSU Scheme – 2025) at a grant price of ₹2,663.70 per option and ₹5 per PSU.

HDFC AMC stock performance

Shares of HDFC AMC pared early gains and slumped as much as 2.16% to touch an intraday low of ₹2,606.10 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday following the earnings.

The stock was trading 0.93% lower at ₹2,639 per equity share as of 2:11 PM. It has gained 5% in the past week and 11% over the month.

While the share hit a 52-week high of ₹2,967.25 apiece on October 16, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹2,003 on April 15, 2025.

HDFC Asset Management Company has a total market capitalisation of ₹1.13 lakh crore as of April 16, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
