HDFC AMC Q1 results: Net profit rises 12% YoY to ₹837 crore, revenue jumps 13%

HDFC AMC Q1 results: HDFC Asset Management Company announced its April to June quarter results for the financial year ending 2026-27 on Wednesday, July 15, as the firm recorded a steady increase in earnings performance.

Shares of HDFC AMC surged 4% to an intraday high of ₹2,767.30 during Wednesday’s trading session, compared to ₹2,659.80 at the previous stock market close, according to NSE data.

The shares surged after the company announced its Q1 earnings during the afternoon market hours on July 15.

The company shares closed 2.6% higher at ₹2,729.20 after Wednesday’s trading session, compared to ₹2,659.80 at the previous stock market close, according to the exchange data.

HDFC AMC recorded a 12% rise in its consolidated net profits to ₹837.13 crore in the first quarter of the financial year ending 2026-27, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹747.55 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.

The consolidated statements also showed that the company’s revenue from core operations advanced 13.5% to ₹1,099.72 crore in the first quarter results, from ₹968.15 crore in the same period a year ago, as per NSE data.

The data also showed that the asset management company’s closing assets under management (AUM) as of the June quarter were at ₹9,319 billion.

HDFC AMC operates in mutual funds, alternative investments, and international business via the company’s subsidiary in GIFT City.

HDFC AMC shares have delivered more than 76% returns to investors in the last five years, over 129% gains in the last three years, and more than 2% in the past one year period, according to NSE data.

On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the company’s stock has risen 3% in 2026 and has gained 4% in the last one-month period. The exchange data also showed that HDFC AMC shares were trading 2.5% higher over the last five market sessions.

Shares of HDFC AMC surged to their 52-week high of ₹2,967.25 on October 16, 2025, while the 52-week low was at ₹2,205.60 on March 30, 2026. The company’s market capitalisation (m-cap) was at over ₹1.16 lakh crore as of the stock market close on Wednesday, July 15.
