HCL Tech Q3 Results: Net profit falls 11% YoY, revenue up 13%; company declares interim dividend of ₹12 per share

HCL Tech's Board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share, with a face value of ₹2 each for FY26.

HCL Technologies, announcing its Q3 FY26 results on Monday, posted a 13.3% fall in its consolidated net profit to ₹4,076 crore against ₹4,591 crore recorded in the year-ago period. On a quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) basis, the net profit fell 3.8%.

The company's consolidated revenue, however, jumped 13.32% during the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3 FY26) to ₹33,872 crore, rising from ₹29,890 crore in Q3 FY25. Sequentially, its revenue rose 6%.

HCLTech's Board declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share, with a face value of ₹2 each for FY26. The company fixed Friday, January 16, as the record date for the interim dividend, and set Tuesday, January 27, as the payment date.

HCLTech Q3 FY26 Results: Key highlights

HCLTech's EBIT for Q3 FY26 was at ₹6,285 crore, while the margin was at 18.6%. The company has revised its FY26 guidance for constant currency (CC) revenue growth, forecasting a growth of 4 to 4.5%, narrowing it down from the range of 3 to 5%.

Commenting on the third quarter results, HCLTech Chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra said, “We have delivered another quarter of robust performance driven by the differentiated value we bring to our clients. AI continues to be a key growth driver across our portfolio, and we are sharpening our capabilities to leverage these emerging opportunities.”

During Q3 FY26, HCLTech's constant currency (CC) revenue soared 4.1% QoQ, while its dollar revenue grew 4.1% QoQ.

The company's CEO and Managing Director, C Vijayakumar, said, “Another standout quarter on all fronts, with revenue up 4.2% QoQ in constant currency, along with a strong recovery of operating margin to 18.6%. The strong revenue momentum in the quarter has enabled us to cross $15B in annualized revenues. Our new bookings were exceptionally high at $3B. Our Services revenue grew 1.8% QoQ in constant currency, driven by 19.9% QoQ growth in Advanced AI services. HCL Software revenue grew sharply by 28.1% QoQ and 3.1% YoY in constant currency, driven by seasonality and the data Intelligence portfolio. We are well-positioned to address the evolving AI demand of our clients across industries and service lines."

Shares of HCLTech closed 0.34% up at ₹1,667 apiece on the NSE on Monday, ahead of its Q3 FY26 results announcement. The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹4,52,367.97 crore.

The stock hit its 52-week high of ₹2,012.20 apiece on January 13, 2024, while it was at its 52-week low of ₹1,302.75 per share on April 7, 2025.
