Godrej Industries Q1 FY27 results: Net profit slips 19%; revenue grows to ₹5,448 crore YoY

Godrej Industries reported a 19% decline in its consolidated profit at ₹284 crore for the quarter ended June 30 of fiscal year 2026-27 on Thursday, August 13. In the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, its profit was at ₹349 crore.

The Mumbai-based company's revenue from operations rose 22% in the April-June period to ₹5,448 crore from ₹4,460 crore in the year-ago period.

The firm reported stable operational performance in Q1 FY27 as its EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation), also known as operating profit, surged to ₹574 crore as against ₹397 crore a year earlier, registering a growth of 45%.

The company's EBITDA margin improved to 10.54% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in contrast to 8.9% reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Godrej Industries said its Home Care business grew 12%, with the performance of household insecticides improving, driven by various actions. The Electrics segment continued to perform as planned, while the new “GK 6-min RNF” campaign gained popularity.

The company said its Personal Care segment jumped 11%, with Skin Cleansing continuing to upgrade to premium formats and outperforming in the market.

Along with the earnings, Godrej Industries, in a statement, said that following the retirement of Nadir Godrej as Chairman and Managing Director of Godrej Industries, Pirojsha Godrej will succeed him as a Whole-Time Director, designated as Executive Chairperson, with effect from August 14, 2026, as part of a planned generational transition.

Pirojsha Godrej’s term as Whole-Time Director, designated as Executive Chairperson, will run from August 14, 2026, to August 13, 2031.

Under Pirojsha Godrej’s leadership, the Godrej Industries Group delivered over 20% compounded annual growth in both sales and net profits over the five years leading up to FY26.

Godrej Industries share price trends

At 2:05 PM, Godrej Industries shares were trading at ₹1,259.1 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 1.93%.

From the beginning of the year, Godrej Industries shares have jumped 22%. Over a month’s time, the stock has fallen 9%, while for a six-month period it has climbed 31%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹1,443 on July 10, 2026, and a 52-week low of ₹744.20 on March 30, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of August 13, 2026, Godrej Industries has a total market capitalisation of ₹42,419.65 crore.
