Engineers India Q3: Engineers India on Monday, February 10, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹108.73 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25).

The figure grew 71.6% year-on-year (YoY) as the company had reported a profit of ₹63.35 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations came in at ₹764.59 crore, down 13.4% against ₹867.64 crore logged in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company's EBITDA, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation came in at ₹98 crore, up 94% YoY from ₹50.5 crore registered in the December 2023 quarter.

EBITDA is one of the commonly used financial metrics used by analysts to assess a company's operational performance and profitability.

Margins also increased to 12.9%, up from 5.8% in the same quarter last year.

Engineers India (EIL) is a public-sector engineering and technology company in India. It was established in 1965 and is headquartered in New Delhi. EIL provides engineering, procurement, construction, and project management services.

The company has also diversified into sectors like infrastructure, water and waste management, solar & nuclear power, and fertilizers to leverage its strong technical competencies and track record.

The results were announced during market hours.

Engineers India Q3: Dividend update

The company, in its filing to stock exchanges, said that the company's board has declared an interim dividend of ₹2 per share (on the face value of ₹5 each) for the financial year 2024-25. The record date for the interim dividend 2024-25 is Friday, February 14, 2025.

The interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25 on the equity shares of the company shall be paid on and from Monday, March 3, 2025, the company added.
