Eicher Motors, the maker of Royal Enfield motorcycles, on Thursday, June 31, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹1,205 crore in the first quarter of current financial year (Q1FY26) marking an upside of 9% from ₹1,101 crore in the same period last year.

Eicher Motors' revenue from operations advanced 15% in June quarter to ₹5,042 crore from ₹4,393 crore in the year-ago period.

The company reported stable operational performance in first quarter as its EBITDA also known as operating profit advanced 3.26% to ₹1,203 crore as against ₹1,165 crore in the same period last year.

Its operating profit margin, however, declined by 266 basis points to 23.86% from 26.52% in the year-ago period.

During the quarter 88,160 equity shares of ₹1 each were issued and allotted under the Employee Stock Option Plan 2006 and the Restricted Stock Units Plan, 2019. Meanwhile, the Nominations and Remunerations Committee approved grant of 1,63,933 restricted stock units to certain eligible employees of the Company, its subsidiaries and a joint venture under the Restricted Stock Units Plan, 2019, Eicher Motors said in an exchange filing.

Eicher Motors’ VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) reported a marginal 0.82% year-on-year decline in commercial vehicle (CV) sales, with 7,363 units sold in June 2025.

Meanwhile, motorcycle sales saw strong growth in June, rising 22% year-on-year to 89,540 units, up from 73,141 units in June 2024.

Motorcycles with engine capacities up to 350cc registered a 25% jump in sales to 76,680 units, while those above 350cc saw a 10% increase, reaching 12,860 units in June 2025.

Eicher Motors shares ended 0.2% lower at ₹5,470 on the BSE ahead of its earnings announcement.
