For the quarter under review, the Royal Enfield maker’s revenue from operations increased 31.5% YoY to ₹6,632 crore as compared to ₹5,042 crore in Q1 FY26.
On the operational level, the automaker's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹1,590 crore, marking a jump of 32% from ₹1,203 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s EBITDA margin expanded marginally to 23.98% in contrast to 23.86% YoY.

“Building on a record-setting performance in FY26, we have sustained our strong momentum into the new financial year, with Royal Enfield recording its highest-ever quarterly sales and VECV recording its highest-ever Q1 sales. This quarter was historic for Royal Enfield as we commenced deliveries of the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle,” said B. Govindarajan, Managing Director—Eicher Motors, and Chief Executive Officer—Royal Enfield.
“With a robust product launch calendar and diverse brand initiatives planned for the rest of the year, we are optimistic of maintaining our growth trajectory in the dynamic global environment,” Govindarajan added.
For Q1 FY27, VE Commercial Vehicles’ (VECV) revenue from operations stood at ₹6,610 crore, up 16.6% from ₹5,671 crore. Its EBITDA for the first quarter rose 6.1% to ₹541 crore from ₹511 crore a year ago, while the profit after tax came in at ₹300 crore as compared ₹288 crore last year.
Eicher Motors, in a statement, said that VECV recorded its highest-ever first quarter sales of 24,815 vehicles, up from 21,610 vehicles in the previous year.
Commenting on the earnings, VECV Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer B. Srinivas said, “We are pleased to have delivered our best-ever first quarter, with sales of 24,815 units, growing 14.8% year-on-year, while maintaining our number one position in the LMD truck market. Beyond the numbers, we continued to drive modernisation in the Indian CV sector.”
Apart from the earnings, the Board of Directors of Eicher Motors have also approved an investment of ₹1,225 crore for Phase I of the Greenfield expansion in Andhra Pradesh, which at full utilisation can produce an additional 4.5 lakh motorcycles per year.
The capacity addition is expected to be completed during FY2029-30, subject to market conditions, the auto major said.
With Phase 1 of the Greenfield expansion in Andhra Pradesh, the total production capacity for Royal Enfield across all plants will reach around 24.5 lakh motorcycles per year.
In a separate regulatory filing, Eicher Motors said that its total existing production capacity stands at around 15 lakh motorcycles per year across its Oragadam and Vallam Vadagal plants in Tamil Nadu as of July 29, 2026.
The company added that a previously announced brownfield expansion at its Cheyyar plant is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by FY28, after which the combined capacity across the three plants is expected to reach up to 20 lakh motorcycles per year.
