Divi's Lab Q1 Results: Net profit jumps 27% to ₹545 crore, revenue rises 14%; shares fall

At 12:16 pm on Wednesday, shares of Divi's Labs were trading 2.71% down at ₹6,235 apiece on the NSE.

Divi's Laboratories Ltd on Wednesday, August 6, reported a 26.7% jump in its net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal (Q1 FY26) to ₹545 crore as against ₹430 crore posted in the year-ago period. On a standalone basis, the company's net profit was at ₹557 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025.

The company's revenue during the June quarter climbed 13.7% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,410 crore, up from ₹2,118 crore in Q1 FY25.

"Profit before Tax (PBT) for the current quarter amounted to ₹33 crores as against a PBT of ₹604 crores for the corresponding quarter of previous financial year and a PBT of ₹864 crores for the 4th quarter of previous financial year. The Company earned a Profit after Tax (PAT) of ₹545 crores for the current quarter as against a PAT of ₹430 crores for the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. PAT for the 4th quarter of previous financial year was ₹662 crores," the company said in a release on Wednesday.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of the firm increased by 17.2% YoY to ₹729 crore from ₹622 crore in the June quarter of FY25. Margin stood at 30.25% for the April-June quarter against 29.37% a year ago.

Total expenses of the company were up 12.74% YoY to ₹1,796 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to ₹1,593 crore in Q1 FY25.

"Forex gain for the current quarter amounted to ₹39 crores as against a loss of ₹1 crore for the corresponding quarter of previous financial year," the release stated.

Divi's Labs shares

Following the Q1 earnings announcement, at 12:16 pm on Wednesday, shares of Divi's Labs were trading 2.71% down at ₹6,235 apiece on the NSE.

At 1:08 pm, the stock was down 3.3% at ₹6,197 per share on the NSE.

The company's market capitalisation stands at ₹1,64,325.05 crore.

Over the past five days, the stock has declined by 6.78%. The scrip has fallen by 10.08% in the last one month, while it has gained 1.2% in the last six months. Year-to-date, the stock has increased by 1.9%.

The stock hit its 52-week low of ₹4,615.55 apiece on the NSE on August 19, 2024, while it was at its 52-week high of ₹7,071.50 per share on July 8, 2025.
