Cochin Shipyard Q4: Cochin Shipyard on Thursday, May 15, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹287.18 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25). This translates to a rise of 10.9% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

The company reported a profit of ₹258.89 crore in the year-ago period.

Basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter under review came in at ₹10.92 against ₹9.84 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Its revenue from operations came in at ₹1,757.65 crore, up 36.67% against ₹1,286.04 crore logged in the year-ago period.

On the operational front, the company's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter declined by 7.6% from the year-ago period to ₹266 crore, while operating margins narrowed by 730 basis points to 15.10% from last year's 22.40%.

Dividend Update

Cochin Shipyard said that its board has recommended a final dividend of ₹2.25 per equity share of a face value of ₹5 each for the financial year 2024-25, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM) of the company.

The company added that this is in addition to the interim dividend of ₹3.50 per equity share of face value of ₹5, which was recommended by the board in the Board Meeting held on February 06, 2025, and ₹4 per equity share of face value of ₹5, which was recommended by the board in the Board Meeting held on November 07, 2024.

The final dividend would be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM.

After the Q4 results declaration, the stock was trading 4.61% higher at ₹1,777.70 on the BSE.
