Bajaj Electricals Q1 FY27 results: Net profit registers massive jump to ₹48 crore, revenue rises 2% YoY

Following the earnings, Bajaj Electricals shares rallied 16% to touch an intraday high of ₹403 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Q1 FY27 earnings: Bajaj Electricals reported a massive surge in its consolidated net profit at ₹48 crore on Thursday, August 6, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, (Q1 FY27), as compared to ₹1 crore seen in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company’s revenue from operations increased 2.3% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,089 crore as compared to ₹1,065 crore in Q1 FY26.

On the operational level, Bajaj Electricals’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew to ₹77 crore from ₹33 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The company’s EBITDA margin also expanded to 7.02% in contrast to 3.1% YoY.

“We are pleased to have started FY27 on an encouraging note. Despite a challenging operating environment marked by input cost inflation, uneven summer demand, and industry-wide price increases, our teams remained focused on execution, channel consolidation, and cost efficiencies,” said Shekhar Bajaj, Chairman of Bajaj Electricals.

Segment updates

For the quarter, the company’s consumer products (CP) segment earned a total revenue of ₹820 crore as against ₹807 crore, a growth of 1.7% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The segment’s recorded an EBIT of ₹32 crore as against a loss of ₹14 crore on a yearly basis.

The lighting solutions (LS) segment registered a total revenue of ₹269 crore compared to ₹258 crore, a growth of 4.4% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. It also saw an EBIT of ₹18 crore as against ₹27 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

“These results reinforce our confidence in the strength of our portfolio and our ability to deliver sustainable, profitable growth going forward,” said Sanjay Sachdeva, Managing Director & CEO of Bajaj Electricals.

Bajaj Electricals share price trends

Following the earnings, Bajaj Electricals shares rallied 16% to touch an intraday high of ₹403 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. At 1:53 PM, the stock was trading at ₹397.5 per share, gaining 14.19%.

From the beginning of the year, Bajaj Electricals shares have tumbled 16%. Over a month’s time, the stock has climbed 22%, while it has lost 4% in the past six months.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹653.80 on September 24, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹301 on June 11, 2026.

Bajaj Electricals has a total market capitalisation of ₹4,586.86 crore as of August 6, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
