Its total revenue from operations advanced 25.5% YoY to ₹332.83 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹265.26 crore in the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q2 FY26), according to a regulatory filing.

Its EBITDA margin expanded by 600 basis points (bps) YoY to 25% for the reporting quarter, as against 19% in the year-ago period.

Elevated raw material prices

The company noted elevated raw material prices, with light liquid paraffin (LLP) prices continuing to be high due to the ongoing West Asia conflict and higher global freight costs.

The prices of refined mustard oil (RMO) were also high, in line with price hikes in other edible oils as the Middle East conflict disrupted oilseed supply chains.

The prices of copra rose in Q2 in anticipation of the impact of El Niño in Q3, with a broader rise in the edible oil basket pushing the rates higher.

Almond Drops Hair Oil (ADHO) Q2 business performance

Bajaj Consumer Care said its Almond Drops Hair Oil (ADHO) domestic business continued its robust momentum, delivering revenue growth of more than 30% in Q2 FY27 and in the first half of the fiscal year (H1 FY27), supported by strong double-digit unit volume growth.

Its price point packs continued to outperform and remained a key growth engine, growing ahead of the portfolio growth, Bajaj Consumer Care said in its investor presentation.

Growth portfolio sustains strong growth momentum

Its growth Portfolio sustained strong momentum and continued to scale meaningfully, while also improving its profitability.

Its coconut portfolio maintained its role as the key growth engine, supported by healthy consumer and trade traction, the company stated, adding that the volume growth was significantly ahead of the revenue growth due to deflation in coconut prices.

“The tweak in the portfolio continues with revamp of a few selected brands and also introduction/launch of certain new products which are being piloted in select market/channels,” it said.

Shares of Bajaj Consumer Care closed 2.32% higher at ₹520.05 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, October 14. However, the results were declared after the market closed.
