Shares of Advanced Enzyme Technologies fell 5% on Monday after the company reported a 7% decline in its consolidated net profit at ₹29.9 crore for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2024.

Revenue rose 14% during the quarter to ₹157.8 crore while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 26% to ₹55.4 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 35% during the quarter as compared to 32% in the same period a year ago.

For the full fiscal year 2024, the firm reported a 32% growth in its net profit at ₹137 crore. Revenue for the year rose 15% to ₹623.9 crore while EBITDA rose 31% to ₹204.5 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 33% in FY24 as compared to 29% in the previous fiscal.

The board of directors declared an interim dividend of ₹4 per equity share and a final dividend of ₹1.1 per equity share.

Advanced Enzyme Technologies said the human nutrition segment revenue rose 17% to ₹102.4 crore in Q4FY24 while the animal nutrition revenue declined by 10% to ₹18.5 crore. The bio-processing segment grew by 35% during the quarter to ₹25.8 crore.

The company said that total revenue comprises international sales amounting to ₹80.4 crore in Q4FY24, registering an increase of 27% YoY. The revenue increased by 32% in the Americas, 31% in Europe and 14% in Asia (ex-India). The firm registered a de-growth of 29% in the rest of the world category.

Domestic sales constituted about 49% of revenue from operations during the fourth quarter as compared to 54% during Q4FY23. Meanwhile, international sales stood at 51% of revenue from operations during the quarter as compared to 46% in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Shares of the company are trading flat when compared to the beginning of the year. The stock has gained over 31% in the last one year.
