The country’s largest private port operator’s revenue from operations grew 24% to ₹11,340 crore in the September quarter, as against ₹9,167 crore registered in the year-ago period.
Adani Ports’ operating profit, also known as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA), jumped 23% to ₹6,806 crore as compared to ₹5,550 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Its EBITDA margin, however, expanded marginally to 60.02% in the reporting quarter from 60.54% in Q2 FY26.
The jump in revenue EBITDA was driven by growth across all businesses, the company said.
Adani Ports said its domestic ports revenue grew 13% in Q2, with an EBITDA margin of 72.5%. Further, the international ports revenue rose 71%, while EBITDA increased 3.4 times, with the EBITDA margin reaching a record 47.7%.
Revenue from logistics jumped 21%, led by the scale-up of its integrated “shore-to-door” network. Marine revenue also surged 57% YoY, driven by global fleet expansion and the company’s foray into subsea services.
“Domestic ports continue to anchor our earnings, while international ports, logistics, and marine are emerging as powerful growth engines. Reflecting strong H1 performance, we are upgrading our FY27 guidance across revenue, EBITDA and capex,” said Ashwani Gupta, Whole-time Director & CEO, Adani Ports.
The Adani group firm raised its FY27 revenue guidance by ₹1,000 crore to ₹44,000-₹46,000 crore, while its EBITDA guidance increased by ₹1,000 crore to ₹26,000-₹27,000 crore. The company attributed the revisions to its strong performance in the first half of FY27.
The company also increased its capital expenditure (capex) guidance by ₹3,000 crore to ₹15,000-₹17,000 crore as it advances towards its Ambition 2031 goals.
Adani Ports reported an operating cash flow of ₹13,327 crore in H1 FY27, which funded investments of ₹10,521 crore. Its net debt-to-EBITDA ratio stood at 1.8 times, despite capex of ₹30,346 crore over the past two years. The company’s cash balance stood at ₹12,502 crore.
The firm said Q2 FY27 performance also demonstrated the impact of APSEZ’s transformation into an increasingly diversified transport and logistics platform, where multiple growth engines across ports, logistics, marine and international markets are scaling simultaneously.
“As we accelerate investments toward our Ambition 2031 objectives, our balance sheet remains exceptionally strong. We have deployed ₹30,346 Cr of capex over the past two years, including higher-than-planned investments in H1, while maintaining net debt-to-EBITDA at just 1.8x, underscoring the strength of our business model and capital discipline,” said Gupta.
Following the earnings, shares of Adani Ports were trading at ₹1,775.50 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 1.2%.
