Gold prices slipped from record high levels in major Indian cities in early trade on Monday, October 21, amid firm global trends. Gold raced ₹1,300 per 10 grams to an all-time high of ₹79,570 in Delhi on Saturday on rising tensions in the Middle East, the uncertainty around the US presidential election and a weak US dollar.

The precious metal hit record-high levels in global markets as well. The spot gold price hit a record $2,732.86 an ounce in early Asian trade on Monday as investors await speeches from US Federal Reserve officials for further cues. Gold traded at $2,732.12 an ounce later.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices slipped by ₹10 to ₹79,560 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹10 to ₹72,920 per 10 grams. 24K gold prices hit an all-time high of ₹79,570 per 10 grams on Saturday, rising sharply by ₹1,300 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (October 21, 2024)

Silver prices eased by ₹100 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Monday after hitting a record high of ₹99,500 per kg on Saturday. Silver prices slipped to ₹99,400 in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Spot Silver traded higher by 1.26% at $34.08 an ounce in global markets. Silver had hit a high of $34.11 an ounce in overnight trade.
