Gold rate falls ahead of US-China trade talks; check the latest price in your city

Domestic gold prices are trading lower on Monday. As of 11:30 am, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹96,690 per 10 gram, down ₹470/10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹88,633 per 10 gram.

Gold prices are trading lower after strong gains witnessed last week as investors turn cautious ahead of U.S.-China trade talks that are set to take place later in the day.

China confirmed over the weekend about trade talks with the US government representatives in London on Monday, leaving traders holding out for further deescalation in their trade conflict. The yellow metal is expected to remain volatile ahead of US-China meeting

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹96,340 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹88,312 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold futures are also trading lower. As of 11:30 am, the MCX Gold August future is down 0.4% at ₹96,590 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹96,860 and day low of ₹96,285. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 0.2% or $5.9 lower at $3,340 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (June 9, 2025)

Silver prices are trading higher in the local market above ₹1.05 lakh mark after several months. As of 11:30 am, silver prices are around ₹106,000 per kg, up 0.08%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.12% higher at ₹105,587 per kg as of 11:30 am, while international silver prices trade around $36.3 per troy ounce, up 0.51%.
