Gold prices on June 26: 24K gold rate flat around ₹97,500 per 10 gram amid weak US dollar; check latest price in your city

Gold prices in India are trading flat in the domestic market. As of 12:00 pm, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹97,530 per 10 gram, down ₹100 /10 gram or 0.1% compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹89,403 per 10 gram.

Gold rates are in a range, with domestic prices slightly lower, while international prices are on the higher side taking some support from weaker US dollar index. Gold prices saw steep fall from over ₹1 lakh per 10 gram to around ₹97,000 level after ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which led to lower appeal for safe-haven assets.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump criticised Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for not cutting interest rates. Meanwhile, the Fed chairman repeated his caution move towards cutting interest rates too soon and warned that Us trade tariff infused inflation could last long than expected. This led to decline in the US dollar and increased appeal for the safe haven asset like gold.

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹97,200 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹89,100 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold August futures is trading marginally lower. As of 12:00 pm, the MCX Gold August future is down 0.04% at ₹97,317 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹97,600 and day low of ₹97,144. In the US markets, Gold futures for August delivery were trading 0.2% or $7.7 higher at $3,350 an ounce.

Silver Price today in India (June 26, 2025)

Silver prices are trading slightly higher in the local market above ₹1.06 lakh mark. As of 12:00 pm, silver prices are around ₹106,820 per kg, up 0.18%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.39% higher at ₹106,389 per kg, while international silver prices trade around $36.3 per troy ounce, up 0.6%.
